Ms. Shelley Dulsky
The Center School, Stow MA
On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, the Nashoba Regional School District finalized contract negotiations with Ms. Shelley Dulsky to be the next principal of The Center School in Stow. Ms. Dulsky currently serves the Bellview Elementary community in the Cherry Creek School District #5, Greenwood Village, Colorado. She will officially begin her employment beginning July 1, 2022.
Prior to being the principal of Bellview Elementary School, Ms. Dulsky was the principal of Canyon Creek Elementary in the same district. When the pandemic came in 2020, school systems across the country implemented remote learning options for their students. The Cherry Creek School District called on Ms. Dulsky to be the principal of a district wide remote learning school, which served over 5,000 students in grades pre-kindergarten through twelve.
Simultaneously, she collaborated with Dr. Scott McLeod, University of Colorado, Denver, on a research project titled, “Resilience, Reorientation, and Reinvention: School Leadership During the Early Months of the COVID-19 Pandemic.”
Throughout the interview process, Ms. Dulsky was viewed highly by students, staff and parents. Assistant Principal, Lenore Zavalick, said, “Ms. Dulsky showed an authentic ability to connect with students and staff, while showing she has the skills of an outstanding school leader. I am very excited to have her on board at Center School.”
Kathy Konno, Center School Council Representative, participated in the panel interviews as well as facilitated the community forum. She said, “I am very excited that Shelley Dulsky will be joining us at Center School. Her enthusiasm for learning and her commitment to the children was apparent throughout the interview process. I think she will be a wonderful addition to our school community.”
Superintendent, Kirk Downing, will work with Ms. Dulsky to set up a meet and greet event with Ms. Dulsky in June to introduce her to the community in person.
