1. When is the Extended Learning Program open?
The Extended Learning Program runs from dismissal (3:05pm) until 6:00pm on all regular school days. The Extended Learning Program is open on all half days from dismissal (12:15pm) until 6:00pm.
2. When is the Extended Learning Program closed?
The Extended Learning Program is closed on all non-school days. This includes school vacations, conference days, and snow days.
3. Where is the program located?
The Emerson Wing of the Florence Sawyer School.
4. How do I pick my student up from Extended Learning?
Guardians can park in the front lot of The Emerson Building. Please use the doorbell to the left of the entrance doors to be buzzed in. All adults picking up must have a photo I.D. available.
5. Who is approved to pick up my student?
Anyone that you have listed as an alternative pick up is able to pick up your student. Please remember that all approved pick ups must be 18+ and able to show a valid photo I.D.
If you need to add an approved pick up person to your student's registration please email your student's site coordinator.
6. What happens if I'm late?
All students must be picked up by 6:00pm. Accounts will be charged $1.00 for each minute after 6:00pm. Excessive lateness (more than four late pick ups) will result in a two-day program suspension. Continued lateness will result in termination from the program.
7. Does my student need anything for the Extended Learning Program?
We suggest that all students bring a snack and a reusable water bottle.
8. What should I do if my student is going to be absent from the Extended Learning Program?
If your student is going to be absent please send an email to:
1. Your student's teacher
2. Your school's attendance
3. Your Extended Learning Site Coordinator,

9. What if I need to change my student's schedule or add an extra day?
Long-term schedule changes and added days can be done using our Schedule Change Form. Please make sure to submit your form with at least 48 hours notice.
One you have submitted your schedule change you should receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
