The cost of each lesson is $33/half hour per student once a week and parents/guardians will be billed once per trimester. The billing dates are as follows: October 1, 2017, January 1, 2018, and February 1, 2018. Parents/guardians will be billed for a minimum of 10 lessons per trimester, but students are encouraged to take more if their schedule permits.

To sign up for lessons, create an account on MySchoolBucks.com and go to the School Store to click Hale Music Lessons. After filling out the information, you will add the item to your cart. Click on the cart at the top right hand of the page to check out. Students who have not signed up and paid under MySchoolBucks.com will not be able to participate in lessons.

All payments will be made via MySchoolbucks and parents will be billed for the first trimester 10 lessons the first week after each registration closes. Payments must be made in full and received by the above deadlines in order for your student to continue their lessons.

Once registered, the instructors will be contacted to set up dates and times for lessons. PROJECT CITIZEN Project Citizen is a program for middle, secondary, and post-secondary students, youth organizations, and adult groups that promotes competent and responsible participation in local and state government. The program helps participants learn how to monitor and influence public policy. In the process, they develop support for democratic values and principles, tolerance, and feelings of political efficacy.

Entire classes of students or members of youth or adult organizations work cooperatively to identify a public policy problem in their community. They then research the problem, evaluate alternative solutions, develop their own solution in the form of a public policy, and create a political action plan to enlist local or state authorities to adopt their proposed policy. Participants develop a portfolio of their work and present their project in a public hearing showcase before a panel of civic-minded community members.
